A couple of weeks ago, I was heading into the Kitchen for an afternoon Coffee (yes, I did say coffee, still drink it), looking out of the window, something caught the corner of my eye outside in the garden.
At the bottom of the lawn, I have a pile of rough grass and twigs, which I had purposely left there for wildlife, regardless of the fact that people tell me how messy it looks (mainly my Mother)! Anyhow, there was this Squirrel, tugging at the grass, like a thing possessed and then running off with mouthfuls of it in to the hedge bottom. Amusing to see and I was feeling somewhat smug with myself, that my wildlife heap had become of some use.
Of course, I had to try and photograph the event. Shooting through a dirty window and trying to focus through the vegetable patch (excuses excuses), I only got a handful of shots and a poor handful at that! They are the type of photos, which would usually make their way straight into the trash bin, but ‘Secret Squirrel’ amused me so much, that I thought I would share them with you, not very professional, but they may make you smile…
Hope that Secret Squirrel has amused, isn’t nature great!
