I hit a wall today!
Not literally of course, I just reached a point, were enough became enough.
Was trying to do something this morning, it just wasn’t happening and the next thing, I realised it was mid afternoon! Day gone by nearly and am still no further on with the list of jobs I wrote myself at the weekend.
So, time, I need it.
There are some things, which I must get done here and I’m tired too.
The M.E has flared up of late and I am just setting myself unachievable tasks etc
So by the time you have finished reading this, I will be offline. (Couple of you may cheer at that, but it won’t be for that long lol).
Am going to be taking some time off, whether it will be 2 days or 2 weeks, I am just going to get caught up here and recharge, then I can return.
Going to spend some quality with McBasil too, without looking at my watch on his walks and thinking ‘we must get back in’.
Of course, this isn’t great timing, after having only launched McBasil’s new Facebook Page ‘Scotland with McBasil’ on Saturday! https://www.facebook.com/ScotlandWithMcbasil
Then, as some of you know, I am an admin on another Scottish Facebook Page, as well as running my own Photography one!
Just can not give these full attention, until I’m caught up. Though already wondering;
a) Do we ever get caught up?
b) How long I will actually manage to stay offline for (meaning hours lol), seems I can not remember the last day when I wasn’t on Facebook/Twitter etc.
Perks; A hectic couple of weeks it has been here of late, but had a really great and unexpected day last week.
I had to take a trip over to the East Coast for the Photography and can you remember my recent Helicopter Image which made the news? Well, I got to see that very helicopter up close and was shown around the Heliport near Inverness!
My Photograph, did not do this mode of transport any justice what so ever! Was a really good and special morning and my thanks and appreciation go out to PDG Helicopters.
We then took a drive onto the Black Isle and to Cromarty, even managed a pub lunch ‘Al Fresco’. McBasil was been his usual demanding self, both for food and attention. Both of which he got I should add.
Had some more travelling to do and we ended coming home along Strath Oykel, taking another refreshment stop at the Oykel Bridge Hotel. It was a wonderful evening and a wonderful finish to the day.
As always, heres a few photos, to go along with this post and am including a couple of Quote ones which amused me.
Will be seeing you soon.
